Crop Shear Blades

Kinetic’s Crop Shear Blades are manufactured from a variety of materials to meet the most demanding specifications. Whether your product is hot or cold, plate, sheet or bar, Kinetic can produce the right blade in the right configuration for your needs.

Scrap Choppers

Scrap chopping blades have to be tough. They take more abuse than any other knife in the line.

Kinetic offers scrap choppers in a variety of materials, selected for your specific application. Our in-house heat-treating methods enhance the toughness and wear resistance of our scrap choppers.

As an added benefit, Kinetic’s through-hardening heat treatment will allow scrap chopping knives to be resharpened without any change in hardness until your specific scrap size is reached.

Resharpening

Kinetic can resharpen any type of shear blade (straight, bowtie, or profile), scrap chopper, side trimmer, or slitter. Our skilled machinists ensure that a resharpened knife will perform as good as new in your metal manufacturing or processing operation.

Some customers want their bar shear blades ground on the flats – that’s not a problem for Kinetic. We can do that and provide you with a shim to bring the knife to “as new” thickness. A Kinetic remachined bar knife will last as long as your new bar knife.

Tube Cut-Off Knives

Kinetic’s differential hardening technologies create Tube Cut-Off Knives with exceptional ductility and shock resistance.

Kinetic quality is built into every one of our tube cut-off knives. Our full range of in-house machining, grinding, and heat-treating capabilities enables us to manufacture tough and wear-resistant industrial blades, proven to provide consistent, quality cuts for our customers.

Kinetic also offers tube cut-off knives with TiN coating (Titanium Nitride coating) to improve wear resistance or our proprietary XLN coating to improve lubricity. These surface treatments result in longer service life and improved cuts.
